| After 26 years, The only Mercedes-Benz OG.305 to have served in Perth has been withdrawn. 007 was initially aquired to evaluate the use of LPG in the MTT fleet. 007's performance paved the way for two other buses to be converted to LPG. 271 which was re-converted to diesel in 1988 and 270 which was powered by LPG intill being withdrawn from service in 2005. 007 is most special to me because we share the same birthday, January 1980. |
